This supplemental Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains our practices in relation to “Consumer Health Data” for residents of U.S. states that have an applicable Consumer Health Data law, such as under the Washington My Health My Data Act.
The definition of “Consumer Health Data” is dependent on the applicable definition in your jurisdiction but generally refers to personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to a consumer and that identifies the consumer’s past, present or future physical or mental status.

In order to provide the products, services or features we offer, we collect and process information about you, including information that could be considered Consumer Health Data. We use Consumer Health Data for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy under “How We Use Your Information,” such as to provide you the products and services that you request or purchase in connection with our Services, including purchasing supplements, requesting at-home labs, processing lab results or storing them within our Services for you to access, fulfilling health coaching requests, identifying wellness issues that can be addressed by our current offerings, and for internal research purposes. If you are working with one of our wellness coaches, for instance, your information may be used to create a meal plan or wellness plan that includes recommendations regarding supplements, exercise, meditation and related functions.
We may also aggregate or deidentify any personal information that we collect in connection with our Services, such that the information is no longer personally identifiable or attributable to you. We may use such aggregated or de-identified information for our own legitimate business purposes without restriction.
We share Consumer Health Data as outlined in our Privacy Policy under “Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information,” including with our service providers who facilitate our provision of goods and Services (e.g., hosting storage of your data, processing the results of your in-home lab tests, payment processors, EquiLife Health Coaches and Certified Health Coaches, and order fulfillment providers), as part of corporate transactions, as required by law and to protect lawful interests, and otherwise with your consent.
Depending on your state of residence, you may exercise the following rights with respect to your Consumer Health Data:
You may exercise your applicable privacy rights by (i) emailing us at support@equi.life with the subject line “Consumer Health Data Privacy Rights Request”; (ii) sending your request via mail to the address provided in the Contact Us section below; or (iii) by visiting our Privacy Center. Please note that to protect your information we must be able to verify your identity before we can process your request to exercise any of the foregoing privacy rights. In some cases, we may limit or deny your request if the law permits or requires us to do so, or if we are unable to adequately verify your identity. If you wish to appeal such a determination, please contact privacy@equi.life.
If we deny your request, you may appeal that denial by contacting us at support@equi.life with the subject line “Appeal” and describing the nature of your request, and the reason for requesting an appellate review.
